Rip and Chair! Noblechairs Announce DOOM Edition Gaming Throne

Sometimes a bit of news inspires the perfect headline. Noblechairs have been providing high quality gaming seating for a while now and their newest special edition chair is something worth celebrating for Doom fans. I absolutely loved DOOM Eternal (which is also getting some new DLC called The Ancient Gods: Part One to be revealed on August 27th by the Summer Game Fest so I’ll be back to ripping spines eventually) and the iconography used in the game is all over this stylish chair. While the look certainly catches an eye, there are also some features that make my weary adult body sing.

According to the listing for the Hero DOOM Edition gaming chair, there are several features that take health into consideration. For starters, noblechairs have integrated lumbar support due to popular demand. This is something I always take for granted and something that can allow for longer sessions gaming, producing, writing, or whatever it is you do at a desk. Related to back health, there is an adjustable backrest and tilt to dial in comfort. For supporting the chair itself, there’s a steel frame and an aluminum base that supports up to 150kg/about 330lbs. Unfortunately, the DOOM edition only comes in PU Leather but for those looking for real leather, there is a nice black chair with red stitching that would also fit nicely into a heavy metal-themed space. Noblechairs also make a Fallout edition which has similar features to their DOOM edition.

Finding the right chair is super important for those that find themselves at a desk for a long period of time. As someone who struggles with back pain and has had to visit a chiropractor regularly, take it from me and keep your back in consideration. For those looking to add a bit more iron and brimstone into their desk space, the DOOM edition may just be a perfect fit.
